Assert of the thesis

Upon completion of the full course of study, students are eligible to graduate. Graduation requirements are set out in the curricula of each study program. The teaching secretary is obliged to forward with a special note to the department and faculty dean the list of students who have fulfilled the obligations of a study program and any other financial obligations who are entitled to the assertions of the diploma thesis. The teaching secretary is responsible for the accuracy of the data.
After receiving the student list, the head of department sets up an AD-HOC committee, which verifies whether these students have fulfilled the study program obligations. Upon verification, the list of students eligible for the diploma thesis assert, signed by the commission members, is forwarded to the head of the department.

The average grade that entitles a student to graduate by preparing a thesis is as follows:

The average grade for the first cycle of studies is 9 (nine).
For the second cycle of studies, “Professional Master”, the average grade is 8.5 (eight points five).

The assert procedure involves a presentation of the thesis summary, questions and answers. In conclusion, the jury, based on the evaluation of the leader and the student’s work, makes the grade. The jury and its chairman are approved by the Dean of the Faculty on the proposal of the Head of Department and consist of 5 (five) members.
Repayment of study program obligations and any other financial and material obligations to the university is a prerequisite for completing and assertion the diploma thesis.

Respectively according to the cycles are issued diplomas:

First cycle of studies:
1. Bachelor’s degree in the field of completed education

Second cycle of studies:
1. Diploma “Professional Master” in the field of completed education
2. Degree “Master of Science” in the field of completed education

Third cycle of studies:
1. Diploma for scientific degree “Doctor”
