Aplikimet për këtë program inovativ të bursave mund të dorëzohen deri më 1 Mars 2020.
Aplikantë të të gjitha kombësive, që kanë përfunduar një diplomë bachelor në Shqipëri, e cila është relevante për programet e masterit në gjuhën angleze të përmendura në thirrje, mund të aplikojnë për këtë bursë një vjeçare. Bursa është planifikuar të fillojë në semestrin dimëror 2020.
Karakteristika e veçantë e programit është se mbajtësit e bursave tashmë do të kenë mundësinë e një praktikë të paguar në një kompani në rajonin Kärnten/Austri në vitin e dytë. Dhoma e Tregtisë (WKO Kärnten) dhe Shoqata e Industrialistëve (IV Kärnten) ndihmojnë në ndërmjetësimin e vendeve.

New scholarships in the field of ICT: University of Klagenfurt Technology Scholarships (Master)
Following the positive development of the regional labor market in the field of “Information and communication Technology” (ICT) and the resulting high demand for skilled professionals in this area, the University of Klagenfurt has developed the University of Klagenfurt Technology Scholarships for prospective students of ICT-related Master’s Degree Programmes taught in English. The Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OeAD) accompanies the selection process and offers its services to the scholarship holders.
Thanks to the collaboration with both Carinthia’s Chamber of Commerce (WKO Kärnten) and Federation of Austrian Industries (IV Kärnten), the scholarship programme provides financial support as well as assistance in finding a paid internship in the ICT sector.

University of Klagenfurt Technology Scholarships

The positive development of the regional labour market in the sector of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has resulted in an increasing demand for skilled professionals. The University of Klagenfurt is responding to this demand by training highly qualified specialists in the ICT sector and awarding the University of Klagenfurt Technology Scholarships, which aim at
– increasing the number of highly qualified ICT professionals, – enhancing diversity in the Federal State of Carinthia and at the University of Klagenfurt, – increasing the number of international students at the University of Klagenfurt, and – promoting the University of Klagenfurt’s internationalization efforts. In cooperation with the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce (WKO) and Federation of Austrian Industries (IV), scholarship holders will be supported in finding a paid internship in the first year of their Master’s degree programme. Scholarship holders shall be enabled to finance the second year of their Master’s degree programme with a paid internship, which is also part of the curriculum. Based on an agreement with the University of Klagenfurt, the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research – OeAD has published the call for applications and will accompany the selection process, award the scholarships and offer its services to the selected scholarship holders before and during their stay in Austria. |

– want to pursue one of the following Master’s degree programmes at the University of Klagenfurt: · Master in Game Studies and Engineering · Master in Information Management · Master in Information and Communications Engineering (ICE): – Branch of Study Autonomous Systems and Robotics – Branch of Study Networks and Communications – Branch of Study Business Engineering – have completed a Bachelor’s degree relevant for one of the Master’s degree programmes listed above in one of the listed countries/regions of origin, – can prove very good English language skills (depending on the desired study programme B2 or C1, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – CEFR) and – are not resident in Austria at the time of application |

Scholarship | · Monthly scholarship for the duration of max. 12 months: EUR 650*
· One-time lump sum for travel costs between EUR 25 and EUR 600 *The grant is meant to support students during their stay in Austria in their first year of studies. Additional own funds are required. Applicants from third countries/regions (non-EU/EEA countries/regions or Switzerland) may need to provide proof of additional funds to the Austrian residence authority when applying for a “residence permit – student”. The required amount may vary depending on the applicant’s age, individual costs for rent, health insurance and other liabilities.

Application procedure | Exclusively online at https://grants.at/ The following documents* have to be uploaded with the online application: ü Completed application form for admission to one of the Master´s degree programmes listed above ü For applicants from non-EU countries/regions: ü Bachelor Certificate** and Transcript of Records of Bachelor’s degree programme ü Complete Bachelor Thesis (copy of original) ü Abstract of Bachelor Thesis in German or English ü Proof of English skills: Level B2 or C1. For Master’s degree programme in Game Studies and Engineering C1 level is required. (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR) ü Scan of passport (data page with name and photo) ü Two letters of recommendation by university lecturers from the university at which the Bachelor’s degree is being pursued/was earned (stamped by the faculty/department) *Documents for scholarship application do not have to be legalized when applying for the scholarship. However, if awarded the scholarship, candidates must submit legalized admission documents (whether legalization is required depends on which country the documents were issued in). **In the case that applicants haven’t completed their Bachelor’s degree at the time of application, a Transcript of Records will suffice. |
