A CEFR-aligned course starting from level A1, open to foreign nationals, international students, and anyone interested in the Albanian language. Delivered in-person, online, or through blended learning.

Course content
The course covers: the alphabet, personal introductions, numbers, family, housing, professions, food, shopping, transportation, health, Albanian culture, basic grammar, and practical exercises.
Learning outcomes
Basic communication, reading, writing, and use of core vocabulary.
Step I - Application
In person at the Academic Secretary's Office, or online at apply@univlora.edu.al.
Required documents: application form, identification document, photograph, and other documents as applicable.
Step II - Enrollment
Once the application is approved, enrollment is completed and the start date is announced.
Step III - Course delivery
Minimum attendance required is 75%.
Step IV - Testing and certification
At the end of the course, a test is administered and a CEFR-aligned certificate is issued.

Kurs veror praktik për komandat e Linuxit dhe hyrje në Bash scripting, i drejtuar kryesisht për nxënës të shkollave të mesme, por i hapur edhe për studentë dhe stafin e UV. Instruktor: Dashamir Hoxha.
Pse na hyjnë në punë komandat e Linuxit
Të gjitha shërbimet që ofrohen sot në internet (nga Google, Meta, Amazon, OpenAI, etj.) janë të instaluara në disa servera në "cloud". Këto kompani kanë qendra serverash në të gjithë botën, ku një qendër e vetme ka me mijëra servera. Në këto qendra serverash janë të instaluara aplikacionet që ofrojnë shërbimet, aty bëhet trajnimi i inteligjencës artificiale, gërmimi për Bitcoin, etj. Më shumë se 90% e serverave në cloud janë me Linux, dhe njohja e komandave të Linuxit (dhe Bash scripting) është thelbësore, ose hapi i parë drejt administrimit të tyre.
Për të menaxhuar servera në cloud nuk është e thënë që të jesh kompani e madhe – kushdo mund të marrë një server me qera në cloud (duke filluar nga 3–5 Euro në muaj) dhe të instalojë në të aplikacionet e tij. Ka me qindra aplikacione të famshme që janë free software dhe mund të instalohen nga kushdo. Komandat që do të mësojmë në këtë kurs sigurisht që janë vetëm hapi i parë drejt administrimit të serverave Linux, por kush të jetë i interesuar mund të vazhdojë më tej me kurse të tjera më të përparuara (p.sh. linux-cli.fs.al/apps).
Instruktori
Instruktori i kursit është Dashamir Hoxha, inxhinier kompjuteri me përvojë të gjatë në administrim serverash Linux, instalim aplikacionesh në cloud, konfigurime rrjeti, etj. Dashamiri është Specialist për Digjitalizimin dhe Serverat pranë UV.
Kohëzgjatja dhe orari
Kursi do të zhvillohet në ambientet e UV, nga data 1 Korrik deri më 31 Korrik, çdo ditë nga ora 10:00–11:00 (pa të shtunat dhe të dielat). Do jenë gjithsej rreth 20 orë mësim (data 1 do jetë hyrje, dhe data 31 shpërndarja e certifikatave).
Formati i kursit
Ky do jetë një kurs praktik (mund të quhet edhe trajnim), ku pjesëmarrësit do përsërisin komandat që sqaron instruktori. Do ketë shumë pak (ose aspak) pjesë teorike.
Vlerësimi dhe certifikimi
Për koordinimin e kursit do përdoret programi Moodle (edu.fs.al). Vlerësimi do bëhet 50% bazuar në pjesëmarrje, dhe 50% bazuar në rezultatet e testeve online (kuize me multiple choice). Certifikata do të jepet për studentët që marrin të paktën 70% të pikëve.
Regjistrimi dhe pagesa
Numri i pjesëmarrësve është i kufizuar (në varësi të vendeve në klasën e kompjuterave), kështu që nxitoni të shprehni interesin duke plotësuar formularin e aplikimit. Nëse do të pranoheni, do t'ju njoftojmë me email, dhe më pas duhet të bëni pagesën dhe të sillni faturën. Pagesa për të gjithë kursin është 2000 Lekë (të reja).

Workshop shkencor ndërkombëtar mbi Inverse Problems dhe Nonlinear PDEs, organizuar nga Departamenti i Matematikës dhe Fizikës në kuadër të programit READ, me pjesëmarrjen e profesorëve nga universitete si Padova, INRIA, Grenoble Alpes, NYU Abu Dhabi, Cardiff, Drexel dhe Rutgers.
Ky aktivitet organizohet në kuadër të programit READ – Research Expertise from the Academic Diaspora, të financuar nga Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF), me mbështetjen e Fakultetit të Shkencave Teknike dhe Natyrore dhe në bashkëpunim me Rutgers University (SHBA).
Aktiviteti mbledh specialistë, studentë doktorature (PhD), post-doktorantë dhe kërkues të rinj nga Tirana, Vlora, Europa Perëndimore dhe SHBA, të gjithë me interes për fushat e problemeve inverse dhe EDP-ve jolineare. Përgjatë tri ditëve të workshop-it do të zhvillohen tre mini-kurse, prej tre orësh secili, dhe pesë leksione kërkimore njëorëshe, të referuara nga profesorë dhe studiues të njohur nga universitete dhe institucione prestigjioze ndërkombëtare, si:
