Prezantim dhe Përshkrim i Qendra e Kërkimit Shkencor:
Qendra e Kërkimit Shkencor është Njësi Bazë e Fakultetit të Shëndetit Publik. Qendra kryen veprimtari kërkimore – shkencore dhe zhvillimi në fushën e shëndetit në përgjithësi dhe atë të shëndetit publik në vecanti. Kjo qendër si objektiv të saj do të ketë mbrojtjen e shëndetit, edukimin shëndetëor dhe promocionin shëndetësor të gjithë komunitetit nëpërmjet studimeve të:
Shkaktarëve dhe faktorëve të rrezikut të sëmundjeve,
- Faktorëve përcaktues në shëndet (psiko-social dhe mjedisor),
- Metodave efektive të parandalimit të sëmundjeve kronike (kancer, diabet, sëmundjet kardiovaskulare)
- Promocionit shëndetësor.
- Ushqyerjes, aktivitetit fizik dhe obezitetit
- Shëndetit mendor të popullatës
- Tipit të shërbimeve shëndetësore (studime analitike me bazë check-up)
- Metodave të avancuara të sigurimit të shërbimeve shëndetësore në popullatë
- Ngritjes së politikave shëndetësore të shëndetit publik në fuksion të arritjes së standarteve bashkëkohore në këtë fushë:
- Të individëve që janë dhe do të jenë pjesë e kujdesit shëndetësor (personelit shëndetësor në komunitet) dhe anëtarët e komunitetit që të marrin vendime në lidhje me shëndetin e tyre, në funksion të përmirësimit të shëndetit të popullatës, nëpërmjet angazhimit të pedagogeve dhe studentëve të FSHP.

Presentation and Description of Scientific Research Center of Public Health:
This Center is a Basic Unit of the Faculty of Public Health. The Center carries out research and development activities in the field of health in general and public health in particular. This center as its objective will have health protection, health education and health promotion throughout the community through the studies of:
- Causes and Factors of Disease Risk,
- The determinants of health factors (psycho-social and environmental) ,
- Effective methods of preventing chronic diseases (cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases)
- Health Promotion.
- Nutrition, physical activity and obesity
- The mental health of the population
- Type of health services (analytical studies based on check-up)
- Advanced methods of providing health services to the population
- Establishment of public health policies in the function of achieving contemporary standards in this field:
- Individuals who are and will be part of health care (community health personnel) and community members to make decisions about their health, in order to improve the health of the population through the commitment of the pedagogues and students of the Faculty.
