Was held on 24 March 2021 SC Meeting of project “Transnational pArks aNd Gardens Resources in Adriatic and ionian tourist Marketplace” (TANGRAM).
Overall objective of the project is to build and promote ADRION brand name in tourism by promoting a sustainable valorization and integration into the tourism offer the Parks as hidden resources by an innovative governance system based on the collaboration between public and private. Natural/cultural heritage sustainable valorization and effective promotion are embedded in the TANGRAM project logic. Partners from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Serbia, Bosnia Herzegovina, and Albania are part of this project.
Referring to the communication of the Project Manager Prof.Assoc Xhiliola Agaraj (Shehu), University of Vlora is responsible partner for Work Package WPT1 “Benchmarking and TANGRAM Transnational Cooperation Network”. In this meeting, the University of Vlora presented the implementation of activities for this work package which began its implementation after the Kick off Meeting held on March 19, 2020.
TANGRAM requires the involvement of decision- and policy-makers at local, regional and/or national level, in order to formulate and put into force a joint tourism strategy, supporting the parks as tourism destination developing collaborative action with the private actors in the whole Programme area, introduce and implement pilot interventions as demonstration actions, and bring about change of utilization of the parks.
